Rules & FAQ

Registration form:

•The only way to register is by mailing your form & check or online by credit card. Space cannot be held any other way.
•Space is limited to 220 for the crop.

Once the crop is full, it will be listed on the website. Keep in mind that usually the crop fills up before the registration cutoff day (sometimes a month before the crop).
•When registering online or by mail, remember that the information you input is used for your name tag & for e-mailing information.

•Cropping Buddies are the people attending you would like to sit next to at the crop. If you are attending alone just leave it blank & you will make some new scrapping friends that day. Remember, that if your buddies list different people, you may be seated close, but not right next to each other. If you have a group of 8 or more & don’t want to list everyone’s names, you can just list the name of the group (i.e. OC Croppers or Jane Smith’s group, just make sure everyone in your group uses the same name). Planning seating for so many is tough, but we try really hard to accommodate all friend requests.
•If you require a special seat; ie wheelchair, walker, etc please list that in the Cropping buddies box online or in the Other section on the registration form.
Scrapping Supporter is someone who is coming out to Crop for the Cure, a Scrapping Survivor is someone who has survived breast cancer. If you are scrapping in memory or in honor of someone list their name(s) in the appropriate space & their names will be printed on your name tag.
•Returned checks will be charged a $25 service fee.

Changes/cancellations will not be accepted after the cutoff date of January 31, 2017. It takes several days to finalize the database, arrange the seating, print the registration documents & then mail them in time to have before the crop.

What is provided:

•Lunch, dinner, snacks & beverages. There will be snacks, fruit, veggies & sweets throughout the day also. Anyone with a dietary restriction can check with a kitchen volunteer about special requests or questions before the meal.
•Goodie bag w/ scrapbook items, coupons, samples, etc..
•12 hours of Cropping.

What to bring:

5-7 days before the crop you will receive a registration packet w/ your entry slip, door prize slip, name tag & more information. If you do not receive it the Friday before the Crop, contact me at EvansvilleCropfortheCure@gmail.com

•Dress casual (layered is best due to fluctuating temperatures). Bring a sweater or sweatshirt in case you get cold.
•A pillow or cushion to sit on if you plan on staying all day.
•Small address labels to enter drawings. (saves time writing your info)
•A camera to remember the event.
•Supplies to complete your pages.
•Extra money &/or checkbook to purchase products & supplies our vendors will be offering, contests, classes, drawings & the scrapbook yard sale.
•Plenty of ambition to get lots of pages done.
•A good friendly attitude to make new friends!

Can I bring my Cricut or laptop?

•There is no way to guarantee a spot near on outlet. You can bring an extension cord & painters tape.
•Wi-fi is available, the code is available at the registration desk.

Prizes & Special Drawings

•You must be present to win door prizes.
•Each crop has two Grand Prizes (valued at $150+), one for the most donation money raised & one for attendance. You do not have to be present to win the Grand Prizes.
•Special drawings are for the people who bring in scrapbook yard sale items & outside donations. Some of the prizes are scrapbook products, special privileges (first in line at the yard sale, meals, etc) restaurant gift certificates, Crop Cash, etc.
Other prizes are given away during the day for layout contests & other games.

Scrapbook Yard Sale

•Bring any unwanted or leftover scrapbook supplies, magazines, organizers, etc to donate to the yard sale table the day of the crop. Everyone who donates items gets their name put into a special drawing for some great prizes & privileges.
•Items do not need to be priced.

Donations

•We collect items that can be used as door prizes, placed in the goody bags, for the fundraiser draw table or snacks, desserts etc. These items do not need to be scrapbook related. It is a good way to advertise your business & donate to a good cause. Please contact the donation chair Amy Weber at EvansvilleCropfortheCure@gmail.com if you are interested in donating.

•Why collect outside monetary donations for the Komen Greater Evansville Tri-State? The person who collects the most donation money gets their choice of Grand Prizes & every dollar gets us closer to a cure. For every $20 in donation money you are entered into a special drawing..

Can I come to shop if I’m not registered?

•Unfortunately, due to liabililty & what we offer during the crop, only registered croppers, volunteers & vendors may enter the area.

Where the money goes:

•All the money raised at the Crop goes directly to the Susan G Komen for the Cure Greater TriState which serves 28 counties in three states. This money will support local breast cancer education, screening, treatment & support local programs as well as national research efforts.

Volunteer:

•There are many opportunities to assist with this event; before, during & after. Please contact me if interested.

Cancellation policy:

•Refunds will only be given if cancellation is before midnight on January 31, 2017. NO EXCEPTIONS!
